Welcome to the DPL...

Welcome to the Damsel Preservation League or "DPL" for short. Contained herein, you'll find a multitude of damsels of all ages worthy of preservation, as well as many links to current artists & writers of the DID genre, and many old-school favourites. Although this is basically a research type blog, there may be some occasional "mature" themed comics so, beware of this. Also this blog & is moderated to keep the spam to a minimum. The majority of the images are ones I've personally "rebuilt" from either my own collection or scans found elsewhere on the 'net. Any applicable copyrights belong to the owners and I make no money from them. Also note that this blog is still a work in progress and will be added to as I continue along...

Not So Much A Damsel

Being a rich man's wife can lead to all kinds of kidnapping attempts. Mrs. Regina Rich was no different from any of the others. Always an open invitation for the bad guys to attempt to grab her and hold her for ransom for a few billion dollars, if not more. The sequence below is complete and involves one such attempt by one of Mr. Rich's employees, who has gone bad and decided to take over the whole company. But when Mr. Rich and Richie start up another company that will put the evil ex-employee out of business, he resorts to dramatic actions. The scene below plays out like an old-school comedy film. Mrs. Rich is totally unaware that her seemingly innocent actions at fixing her make-up, have led to her single-handedly rendering the crooks unconscious!

In other attempts on her life, Mrs. Rich more than proves she can take care of herself, as seen in the two separate pages below. Who's more in distress here? The damsel or the villain? Heh, heh...
