Another character that can be found in the pages of Red Seal Comics, is Kitty Kelly, meek and mild-mannered public service worker (she mainly works for an orphanage.) She's kind of like a female version of Clark Kent, heh. Her only "super power", if you want to call it that, is that her senses are heightened whenever she has stressful thoughts (!?!) In this tale from Red Seal Comics #17 (Harry A. Chesler Publications Inc.~July, 1946), she runs afoul of gangsters who have been switching diseased meat for fresh. Kitty ends up trapped inside a walk-in freezer not once, but twice! You think the baddies would've tied her up but noooooo. But a well placed conk on her head from Mr. Colt .45 does the trick...almost.
