Welcome to the DPL...

Welcome to the Damsel Preservation League or "DPL" for short. Contained herein, you'll find a multitude of damsels of all ages worthy of preservation, as well as many links to current artists & writers of the DID genre, and many old-school favourites. Although this is basically a research type blog, there may be some occasional "mature" themed comics so, beware of this. Also this blog & is moderated to keep the spam to a minimum. The majority of the images are ones I've personally "rebuilt" from either my own collection or scans found elsewhere on the 'net. Any applicable copyrights belong to the owners and I make no money from them. Also note that this blog is still a work in progress and will be added to as I continue along...

Sabrina: Cheerleader In Distress

I wasn't sure exactly how to describe this as it's the first time I've run across this particular type of peril, at least, in a Sabrina comic. Heck, in any comic. But, call it what you will. There is a sort of bondage and distress involved here. Sabrina wants so much to be a cheerleader that, her Auntie Zelda creates a magical cheerleading outfit for her...with some definite drawbacks. But then, nothing is too strange for a Sabrina tale. Unfortunately, there is no real conclusion to this story. Meh.

Scanned in from my copy of Sabrina the Teenage Witch #6 (ARCHIE COMIC PUBLICATIONS, INC.~October, 1997). There are very few references to "possessed clothing" that I could find and one will have to use a bit of imagination with this. Read on and RAH! RAH! RAH!

Bonus panel and unrelated cover scan. Simply because I'm a huge Dan DeCarlo fan...
