Welcome to the DPL...

Welcome to the Damsel Preservation League or "DPL" for short. Contained herein, you'll find a multitude of damsels of all ages worthy of preservation, as well as many links to current artists & writers of the DID genre, and many old-school favourites. Although this is basically a research type blog, there may be some occasional "mature" themed comics so, beware of this. Also this blog & is moderated to keep the spam to a minimum. The majority of the images are ones I've personally "rebuilt" from either my own collection or scans found elsewhere on the 'net. Any applicable copyrights belong to the owners and I make no money from them. Also note that this blog is still a work in progress and will be added to as I continue along...

DPL 1st Annual Halloween Spooktacular!

For those of you following this humble blog of mine, you can join me in October, 2015 as I celebrate the entire month with Halloween-themed, DID stories and tales of the weird and macabre. Above is a "teaser" I cobbled together for a story from Josie & the Pussycats #68, which will publish sometime in the middle of the month. The bulk of the tales are from older Archie Comics Publications and feature some unusual takes on DID. All with a spooky, Halloween flavor. Join me as Josie, Melody, Valerie, Betty, Veronica, Sabrina and many, many more, run afoul of ghosts, daemons and yes, even a mummy or two! And yes, even Mary Marvel gets into the act on 5 October, as she, Billy and Freddie meet an alien ghoul with a taste for human flesh! So, see you all in October! Be afraid. Be very afraid. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!
